Integrating the local Thao indigenous culture with modern elegance, the hotel offers premium hot spring experiences and world-class amenities. We highly recommend flying into Taichung International Airport (RMQ) for the most convenient access to Sun Moon Lake. Taichung is the closest major city and the primary transit hub for reaching the venue.
Alternatively, Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) is the main international gateway with the most flight options. From TPE, you can easily take the High Speed Rail (HSR) to Taichung HSR Station, which serves as the main connection point to Sun Moon Lake.
The most straightforward path if flying directly into Taichung. Private transfer services (like Tripool) are the fastest option.
Take a taxi or bus from the airport to Taichung HSR Station. (~30 min)
Take the hotel's reservation-only shuttle OR the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle. (See Route 3 for details)
The main international gateway. Take the High Speed Rail (HSR) downwards to Taichung to connect.
Take the Taoyuan Airport MRT from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 to HSR Taoyuan Station (A18). (~20 min)
Take the Taiwan High Speed Rail southbound from Taoyuan to Taichung Station. (~40 min)
From Taichung HSR Station, follow Route 3 below to reach the hotel.
Taichung HSR Station is where you'll transfer to reach Sun Moon Lake. You have two main public transport options.
Wyndham Sun Moon Lake offers a free shuttle bus for individual guests.

For attendees driving directly to the venue, here are the highway directions.
Drive on National Highway 3 and prepare to transfer at the Wufeng System Interchange (霧峰系統交流道).
Merge onto National Highway 6 towards Puli/Sun Moon Lake.
Exit at the Ailan Interchange (29km mark).
Take Provincial Highway 14 and connect to Provincial Highway 21 towards Sun Moon Lake. Follow the road to Ita Thao where the hotel is located.
